The Quilt Show in Hardwicke sponsored by the Myers United Church Women and held in Ted’s boat shed is finally next on our to-do-list.
Plans are to open Friday 11th & Saturday 12th July, 12 noon to 5pm both days.
We are looking for quilts to show or for sale , if you wish. Hanging sleeves are a big plus but not essential. Other quilted items are also welcome...runners, purses, wearing apparel, wall hangings...variety is wonderful.
What I would like to know as soon as possible is :
Name of Quilt pattern
Name of quilter/ owner or both if different
Whether for sale –price- or not
Anything interesting you would like to tell about it.
If we have this info’ soon, cards can be printed and ready when items arrive.
WHEN If you are farther away, you can bring to town anytime and leave them in Chatham at All Decked Out on Water St.
I usually go to 93 Mirview in Bushville, Tuesday 8th July, and people drop them off to me there between 1-5pm that afternoon.
We will start to sort and hang them Wed. and Thurs. and anyone who would like to join us for work and play would be most welcome!
